I did have to move my tent a bit to make way for a family. But, the patron was was very abashed and gave me a cornetto (chocolate and caramel) for my troubles.
Later, my little friend (a blonde 3 year old called Vivian who came over last night to tell me off - hands on hips- for having far too small a tent, and ask after my car -I think. Try telling a 3 year old they're speaking a foreign language) bolted over as soon as he heard the rip of a crisp packet. His dad gave me a plate of cherries in return. I ate half and have saved the rest for tomorrow's travails.
I worked out a route for the next couple of days. As the hottest time is mid afternoon I suppose I'd better set off early. The weather forecast is saying an uncomfortable 30+.
Now i have packed as much as I can and am having an early night. With a bit of luck I'll make it through tomorrow without melting.
