I thought of that while riding my bicycle.

What to do?

So folks? What do you do if you're camping and it's raining. You have seen all the town has to offer, maybe you've even had some tea in a lovely little cafe. Now, you're in a tent in the rain.

First of course you have to ovserve good campctaft. Everything that needs to be inside is inside? Everything outside waterproof? Nothing touching the walls? All pegs firmly embedded? Jolly good. Ready to turn in.

When you get inside you have many options. I usually spend a good few minutes rearranging stuff. Making sure I know where my torch and glasses are. That kind of thing then i usually read. Always good to have a book on hand. An e reader for weight purposes given the choice. I also spend some time writing blog posts that will fascinate all. I have been known to crossword and route plan and also pick up the old crocheting every now and then.

There is a lot to be said for a bit of gentle music as you hook away.

Of course, all these pursuits are extra things to carry but as it has rained every day so far I feel their weight is justified.

The electronic charging problems has been solved by a Trent rechargeable power pack. I've not had to sit on a sink watching my phone recharge all holidays. Thank goodness I didn't rely on solar power eh?
