And a break in the weather. I'm sat outside my tent.
Today I set off late and sort of wandered along here to Dole. I didn't stop anywhere in particular although I did take breaks to graze on biscuits, eggs and nuts. Not all at once.
At around four my cagoul was almost dry. An hour later I arrived on site and - get this - took it off! I put up my tent which is now not so wet and made a coffee.
All relaxed I decided to wander into town. It's very french, it is also the birthplace of Louis Pasteur and has lots of little cobbled winding streets and stairs.
It was along these stairs and streets that some sort of urban mountain biking race was flying along. Lots of lanky kids hurling themselves down stairs and round corners.
I'm not sure where I'm heading tomorrow as in the rainy madness I haven't hunted out the next map but, I will start with a coffee in Dole.
Snail sleeping on my helmet. Picked rather a lit of slugs off my tent.
I won't even recognise Bresancon when the tour departs from there. (This is another citadel view). Hopefully they'll finish the roadworks before then.
