An enjoyable ride for the most part. It's nice to be in a new country and to start the day with a Tescos visit.

I made my way to Esztergom, 'Hungary's Rome'. I looked around the Christian Art Museum and then the Cathedral. Having learned no lessons from Ulm I went up the Dome and saw spectacular Danube views.
That took a few hours but there was still time to get a few miles nearer to Budapest.
I stopped eventually at Dunabogdany and found the little campsite on. The river edge. As it was my last Danube day I went for a dip (it's cold) then a shower.
I gave into temptation and laziness and went to the bar for chips and beer. I met a Hungarian/English girl called Gabi so quite happily chewed her ear off. (Hungary to Portugal I would suggest Euro Velo 6, across the south of France then cross the pyrenees on the north coast)
Last day tomorrow.
