I have to say, I am loving the knitting on bigger needles thing. I have never been the world's fastest knitter but big needles make all the difference to a girl's confidence. I am working on a cardi in a lovely grey merino/silk mix. I usually find wool itchy as an itchy thing but this feels like...silk.
Above is the original pattern. A celebration of garter stitch which I have been forced to change to stocking stitch when the dip dyed yarn I was using gave it rather too much of a chainmail finish. In only a few days I have the back done and am half way down the front.
