I haven't mentioned actually riding my bike lately. I have been here and there but haven't been so good at getting out on longer rides (I'm not sure the trip to the pub in North Berwick counts as training!) I did however impress myself by doing 20 miles after staying late at school last night. The only problem was getting a little lost (disappearing NCN signs...) but that was nothing a map wouldn't have solved.
It was good to go a decent distance and feel comfortable, not only with the new cycling shorts but also with the bike. When I first got it I thought I would always feel a little out of control but as I whizzed along the cycle paths of North Edinburgh I felt totally at ease.
