York

Taking it casual is working well so far. Having been to York quite a few times in the past - it’s an easy train journey from Edinburgh - we felt no pressure to hit the sights. Instead we had a stroll round the shops and an afternoon drink in the pub to do the crossword. 

In the evening we met with a university friend. It’s been twenty years! We had a lovely evening drinking and wine and putting the world to rights. 

We’ll see what tomorrow brings, probably a short hop south after Mr H gets the train back home.
